pressure in pelvic area -gas?

hello Hystersisters

I have a question I have pressure in the pelvic area which makes my bladder feel like i have to go urinate often and when i urinate it is often a drop. I do not have a uti. I keep telling myself it just that everything is readjusting itself to a new location so i will feel that pressure for awhile. i still have gas pressure in my pelvic area. I have bowel movement but it seem like the gas is not coming out like it should. Everything i eat give me gas. Can someone help ease my mind and let me know i am not alone.

Thanks shawnacmt

pressure in pelvic area -gas?

Hello

I had a SAH on 5/12. I had terrible bladder spasms for a while. Eventually got better . Still happens though. Just this morning, I had a feeling of pressure, like i have to urinate, (this happens sometines), but it was only a drop. Yet the pressure feels like I am holding a gallon in. I do plan on talking to my dr on post-op day (6/25). I plan to ask for a referral to a specialist. I did have problems with frequent urination, a drop here and a drop there before surgery, hoping it would get better after surgery. Anyway, didn't mean to ramble. But check with your dr. I had to go to the er after I got home. I was having watery bowel movements, but SOOOOO much gas. Found out, I had a piece of stool trapped at the bottom of my colon, that is what was causing the trapped gas. THe gas caused me to hurt soooo bad. They gave me an enema and I felt immediate relief. Have not had any problems since.

Hope you get to feeling better.

You are absolutely not alone in this. I was positive that I must have a UTI and I did not. It is everything shifting around to new places! It does get better, but I sure can sympathize with what you are experiencing.

at ease

Thank you to all my fellow sister. Your answers helped me realized that, yes this is all part of the process. I pray for the day when this pressure will leave and thank you to all my fellow angels for reminding me patience is the key.
