Has anyone else had the burch done w/hysto? I'm planning on going in on Monday morning, and I'm getting nervous.

I haven't had it done yet, but I will be having it in August. I originally had my hyst in April of this year, along with an A&P and a Monarc sling. But the sling is too tight and I'm retaining too much urine. Also another cystocele has reformed.
So I've got to return to the OR and the doctor is going to dissect out all of the mesh and then do a Burch. I tell you I'm not looking forward to the recovery at all. My previous surgery was ALL done vaginally. This time will be abdominally. *sigh*
Good luck! I know I was no help to you, I just wanted you to know you weren't alone. I'll be sure to say a prayer for you. Let us know how it goes.
