Weird BM Question

Ok, I have an odd question...my Bms are back to normal as far as frequency, but they feel weird. When I actually go, it feels really crampy, like I can feel it move the last few inches. I want to hit the celing every time. As soon as I go, it's ok. I don't know if it's that my intestines have dropped to where my uterus was, or if it's hitting the hematoma at my cuff site. Anyone else have this, and if so, what did you do about it?

Weird BM Question

I have felt this sensation also, but I had adhesions on my bowel (the uterus and fibroids were adhered to the bowel) so I think I feel this way because of the work done to remove the adhesions.

Weird BM Question

I have the same thing since my surgery, but it does not bother me. I doubt very much if there is anything you can do about it. Everything feels a bit stranger since my surgery. Let's just say that I'm more aware of my abdomen!

Weird BM Question

It could very well be if that the bm's are moving past the place where your hematoma is resolving, that is causing some odd sensations.

If it's uncomfortable, a stool softener might help. This won't cause your bm's to be loose or anything, but it might help them move through a little more easily.

If you experience increased or "new" pain, however -- don't hesitate to call the . That is what they are there for.

Weird BM Question

I can totally relate to this. Not a strange question at all. My doctor told me that the space where my uterus was will tend to fill in with intestine, so that is probably part of it. I may go ahead, even though I'm regular, pick up the stool softener, so I can sit still on the potty. LOL. I find that I'm constantly moving during the moving trying to find a comfortable spot. It's probably a combination of so many things...bowels getting back to normal, bumping into sore spots, intestinal movement, etc.

Thanks for the advice, and I'll be looking for the responses to how much.

Weird BM Question

I remember that pain, and feel for you...It does get better eventually!!

As with most meds, how many softeners you need is an individual thing. Check out the directions...if you're afraid of using too many, just try one at a time and build as needed.

I hope you get some comfort soon!
