Are these symptons of low hormones?

I feel fine for the most part. I am not having hot flashes, weepy or irritable.

I am suffering from crushing fatigue. I wake up fine and I have a decent amount of energy for a few hours every morning. By noon I am exhausted. It can happen suddenly. I am so exhausted that driving is dangerous. I can not stay focused on the road or speeds. I am not over doing it in the morning when I have energy. And that amount of energy isn't large or extreme, it is functioning. But I am not tired. Resting or sleeping doesn't help. Actually I can't sleep, laying down does no good. (I do sleep fine at night.)

I seem to have lost my ability for short term memory. It has taken me over a week to remember to write this. I am on this site several times a day, every day. Things literally come in one ear and go out the next. I do not remember waht I am supposed to do, what was said to me, or what I said. Frequently my comments do not match the conversation. I can watch a movie, and not be able to tell you what I watched, or its story line. It is very frustrating!

Are these things that happen if your HRT is too low or missing something?

I am taking 1 mg of Estrodial in pill form.

I find that estrogen does give me more energy. The fatigue is one way I know I need more. You may need to take one in the a.m. and one in the p.m. I know that I seem to "run out of gas" by the end of the day. That's getting better now, however, that I'm almost a year post-op. Just a thought. Good luck!!

Hi Sue,

It could certainly be some sort of hormone imbalance. Have you had your thyroid checked ? I am hypothyroid and the fatigue can be crushing. It is worth a call to your doctor. Let us know how you do and what you find out.

Blessings,
lisa
