wheatgrass juice

I am three weeks post-op (starting chemo tomorrow) and a friend/healer who studies herbs and homeopathy recommended that I start growing and juicing wheatgrass daily to help my immune system. If you don't want to go to the trouble at home you can get shots at a local health food store or juice bar. Organic is best. You can read all about it at

I am also taking a #@%&.*-load of vitamins and getting as much sleep as I feel I need.

x o,

PS, I am getting overwhelmed with all the people who have all these great ideas for me as far as stuff I should do and stuff I shouldn't do. I am just saying, go with your gut. You cant always do everything.

And, especially if you are in the treatment phase, make sure your doctor knows EVERYTHING you are taking and what amounts. Large amounts of vitamin C can interfere with certain treatments while small amounts don't, thing like that. There are a lot of drug interactions out there. Another thing I like about the Natural Pharmacist site is that they have a supplement/drug interaction section. {{{{dixie}}} we'll be thinking of you.
