Hysteroscopy with D&C in 10 days, can they do ablation at the same time?

I feel like this is a really dumb question,but my dr. did not mention it. I've already had an endometrial biopsy done which was clear, along with a biopsy of the cervix-that was clear also. I go for my pre-op visit on Monday and wonder if I should ask her why she won't just do it? Is there a reason why they would wait if they don't find anything?

You can always ask! I believe other ladies have posted that their doctors have done the hysteroscopy and D&C and if all was okay they did the ablation right then and there. There are likely many issues to be considered so ask your doctor if it would be okay for you!
