boobs are growing and sore, anyone else??

O.K. why are my boobs growing, and sore??? I don't mind the growing, my hubby doesn't either but the soreness is bothering me. I have to wear a sports bra to bed just to keep the girls compfy. they weren't big to begin with, but i just want to know why they seem to be growing. Anyone else have this happen???

Are you taking hormones? Could be a reaction to that, you know, like the soreness that comes with ovulation or your period when the hormones are waxing and waning. Check with your dr about the symptoms. If you are taking HRT it may need adjusted.

(Just a thought - warm showers followed by ice, then warm compresses were helpful when my milk came in post partum. Maybe your body is reacting to your surgery in a similar way. It may take away some of the discomfort anyway.)

I kept my ovaries, too, and they are already ovulating. GYN said I would still cycle normally, I just won't bleed. Could explain the soreness if you are pre"menstrual" in your cycle, but I don't know about the growing problem. Maybe the girls just want to come out to play!!!!!!!!LOL.

i wondered about the monthly symptoms and did notice them last month, but this has been for almost 2 weeks now. i never was good at keeping track of ovulation time, etc...

I can feel which ovary is ovulating - but I generally cycle about a week after my DD, so I still have a "clock" to gauge my cycle by. Lucky me! Gyn said it could take a few months for ovaries to return to normal, but I'm pretty sure they worked on September 5th just like normal!!!!! Yah, lucky me...

My boobs are growing and tender too. I still have my ovaries and cervix. My bras are even getting snug in the cup area.

Ladies, what ARE you doing? The only thing growing on me is my upper abdomen - At this rate, in a few weeks, it'll look like I have TWO bustlines, an upper and a lower! Just what I need to go with my two chins! HA!

Hahaha Stone!

I have not noticed an increase in my bust line, but the tightness across the upper abdomen is sure there. I believe it has something to do with swelling and muscles doing their thing after the pulling for the tummy tuck etc...
