Evamist Spray

I just got a sample of the Evamist spray and was told to use 3 sprays per day on forearm. I read the instructions and primed the applicator. When I put it next to my forearm, I didn't feel much of a spray. The area didn't look "wet"...the pump seemed kind of jerky...

When you spray it, do you feel it being wet and can you see it? Also, any feedback on this drug? I am using it with a vivelle patch. Thanks!!

Evamist Spray

I have a wet spot after I spray that dries about as quickly as rubbing alchol. I do think they need to look at a sturdier container. I dropped mine and it fell apart!

I am switching from oral estradiol. I have noticed my night sweats have gone away but all my other symptoms are still present...crushing fatigue, headaches, dryness, itching, lack of vaginal sensation, depression. Wondering if I might need to look into testosterone or thyroid problems. Just want to feel normal again.

Do you feel it spraying? How big is the spot? I'm not sure mine is working...I barely feel anything and see almost nothing. The pump doesn't depress smoothly..wondering about this. Hate to use something that may or may not be defective..I just want relief too...any chance you can elaborate? thanks!!

When you primed the pump did you see anything come out? Mine came out like a squirt of hair spray. You might try taking the skinny end off and seeing if you can put the glass tube in better. Better yet, if you live close to your pharmacist, you might run your device into them and see if they can fix it.

I don't have relief yet...were you wondering about my symptoms?

Evamist Spray

So if you are not holding it against your skin, can you actually see a mist of spray in the air? if so, mine is certainly not working. I am using this in conjunction with the patch to give me more estrogen when I feel I need it... From what I have read, Evamist is for mild symptoms, maybe it won't be enought for you? How many pumps are you using per day? Do you do it morning or night? Please let me know about the mist, I'm very unclear if mine is defective. thanks so much!

Evamist Spray

When I spray on my forearm and lift up the device my arm is wet and it dries up very quickly. I was already going through menapause before my LAVH and was not taking harmones but am since my surgery. I am hoping it will help with some of the symptoms I have had in the past and know would be much worse since my surgery if I wasn't taking something.

Evamist Spray

I can see a mist when I spray it in the air. If you can't see the mist I would say that it is not working.

I am using 3 sprays a day. I was on 3mg, up from 2, of oral estradiol but that increase made me feel WORSE! I am supposed to be using 3 sprays for two weeks and then drop down to two sprays. My hot flashes are definetly better but I haven't seen improvement in other symptoms. I don't go back to the doctor for a few weeks. I am trying to be patient but I might call and ask for some testosterone.
