Hi there everyone I just had surgery on sept 30th,,, feeling pretty good. I had a vaginal hyst with my cervix taken out but ovaries are still there. I been up moving around alot I have done dishes but no bending or lifting. I,ve been on my couch alot but very hard getting up and down on it. I do get up and walk around my home sometimes I am up for over and hour . Anyone think that is to long could I be hurting anything. I still have alot of pain and pressure feeling sometimes it is a very sharp stabbing pain and I am just sitting there> Still spotting not to bad though not much pain meds either which is good Well hope to hear some good in put so I don't feel like I am doing to much ect .....

I had a VH, A&P repairs with Bladder Sling TOT surgery on 7/30 ; speaking from experience I would take it easy. You have one chance to heal right and you don't want to have to have any set backs. Standing puts pressure on your vaginal area right where you've had surgery It's not easy to 'do nothing' but you're healing and if you have helpers this is the time to ask them to pitch in. Pamper yourself and rest! Best wishes.

I had my TAH/BSO I would walk around the house a bit the first two weeks but could tell when I needed to either sit or lie down. Like you did the dishes and piddled gently as I was bored.

The more you rest with your feet up and not get up and down so much is better...that helped me. I could tell when I got up and down to much. I would do pretty good in the mornings, but had to nap in afternoons those first two weeks...which I miss dearly!!!...I miss my naps!!!....

Definitely pamper yourself to the max...our 'regular life' comes back all to soon!!
