Plum Juice TOTALLY trumps prune juice... and a surprise!

Hi Ladies!

Plum juice is SO much more tolerable than prune juice and also has 3 grams of fiber per serving. It's still brown-ish but more like the color of tea... and tastes a little like stale cranberry juice.

BUT MORE EXCITING... I found Sams brand apples juice at Walmart that has added fiber, and THAT is ALSO 3 grams of fiber per serving!

I am VERY HAPPY because I want to be VERY careful to keep things moving smoothly and the prune juice was a total gagger.....

Tracey in VA <--- who also purchased all the clear liquids for the two day bowel prep process.... yes, still a week and change away but I need to focus on something (sigh)

Thank You! I have been looking for more fiber to add to my diet before and especially after my trip to the castle! Thanks for sharing!

I agree that prune juice is pretty bad. It's funny because prunes themselves aren't as bad as the juice. I've found that Benefiber helps me a lot. It's a powder that you can add to food or beverage. It's tasteless and you can't really tell that it's there but it works. Maybe you can ask your dr about that?

Best wishes.

Yeah, I LOVE benefiber... I'm guessing that's similar to the stuff added to the Sams Apple Juice. Water soluble fiber...

I tested benefiber one day by adding a double dose of it it to deer park water bottle... and couldn't taste any flavor difference and didn't notice any thickening. That stuff can go in pudding, soup, water, any juice... and can't be noticed AT ALL. and I am very aware of stuff like that... I will ask doc.

Eating raisins works very well, too. And they are absolutely "scrummy" when they are chocolate covered!
