post op spotting

i have posted before about this but i'm still just clueless....i had a LSH on Oct.16 (kept ovaries & cervix). i was doing really good for the first two weeks. only a day or two of bleeding. but for the past week and a half everytime i wipe after using the bathroom there is blood. and sometimes there is like a few pieces of something reddish in the toilet. i did have a dr's appt. last wednesday and he said everything was healing ok. i am still a little tender on my left side and around my navel. he wants to check me again in three weeks and if i am still having this problem he is going to schedule an ultrasound. it's just so frustrating. during the night i slack off, but as soon as i get up in the morning and start moving around i can feel myself starting to bleed a little. he asked about the time of my cycle, but i've already passed that. so i don't understand why it's still happening???

Hello..

I'm only a week out but know that I too notice blood when I wipe and really think its normal. Hang in there and just don't move around much if you can help it...

Take care

post op spotting

Hello,

I'm 3 weeks post op today and still bleeding/spotting. I notice it when I've been laying down for a while and get up, especially in the morning, and when I have a BM it seems it comes out quite a bit then.

I posted about this last week. There are many ladies having the same issues. But if you are worried, call your doctor. I had a vaginal hysterectomy so I don't have a cervix. I don't know how much that differs from keeping it and the amount of blood to be expected.

I am 6 weeks post op. I kept one ovary and my cervix. I only had a day or two after surgery where I saw some bleeding. I would be concerned about bleeding weeks afterward.
