I am 2 weeks ahead of you on the recovery calendar and have felt quite well from the beginning, but I think you'll find you will turn a corner at about week six to seven. I noticed a big improvement at this point so hopefully you should see some benefit soon.

well, I'm7 wks tomorrow (TAH, bladder sling, vaginal vault suspension).
I feel like a new woman, one I don't want to be. I'm so achy, still can't wear my reg. pants, still can barely get to my feet to get the washed or put socks/shoes on. I could go on but I won't bore you.
I'm not too sold on the idea yet that I'll be glad I had it done.

I'm told that time... takes time.

I'm only 10 days out... still trying to get the potty and incision thing straightened out. Look at the progress you HAVE made...

You'll get there.

I've been feeling the same way...everyone told me DO IT--it's so worth it....well, I had to (i was a mess inside) but I'm waiting for the "joy" to set in....I wasn't quite prepared for such a long recovery...all my other surgeries have been easier....I'm sore, fat, moody at times and sad that I can't tolerate what I used to the end of the night, i'm back to my lazyboy and wondering when I'll be my new "normal"....i had mine 10/29...I just keep praying.....I went to church yesterday (was quite uncomfortable on the bench) but I felt better...

Hang in there girlfriend!!! Maybe just knowing that others are waiting with you will encourage you to hang on....

It really took me to week 10 to be able to wear my normal clothes for any length of time.

I had my jeans on for periods of about 4 hours from week 7 but couldn't wait to get home & take them off.

Early in recovery elastic waists & sweat pants rule!

I am still waiting to feel this was worth it, expessialy since I did'nt ask for it,
I suffered from endo since I was 16, and just assumed that I would deal w/ it. I had bladder repair in 2000, and that was such a tough recovery, that there was no way I was electing to go through another surgey,Well the bladder surgery was a walk in the park compared to this, but I do realize that in time, I will feel that this was the best thing for me and I will feel like a new woman.
I hope you start to feel well soon.

I feel great! I am just over 6 wks out and I noticed the biggest improvements week 5. I do still feel tired if I've had a busy day, but I would feel that way before the surgery. Don't be discouraged, it will get better!
