What I am looking forward to...

You know what I have been thinking about? What I am really going to look forward to after all these gynie problems are over? What I really had forgotten about but I just realized I need to recoup? My mojo. Really. Bigtime. Sex, feeling good, and being active(and feeling attractive again)....gosh I have slipped badly over the years. Between the 5 yr stint with medically unmanageable ppdepression, and then the resulting 100+ pounds from psych meds and being housebound due to the torrent of bleeding most of the year and pain... My hubby said I look like a senior citizen! Well I know alot of amazingly fit seniors-he meant the shuffling around in pain, hard to leave the house type. You know my family tried to understand but it effects everyone-no real activites with my child, and hubby sees a wife who is sick all the time. After years it takes a toll. And what sex life and intimacy? Nada. I am 37. I really want to get this hysterectomy over and show the dynamic woman I use to be a long time ago. Hubby has been going thru some things and is getting help for his crises. One thing we have discussed is rejigging our marriage. Paying attention to it-instead of the rut. So good heavens ladies, if it all works out, I hope to be a woman with vitality, with a sex life and having fun. Really looking forward to getting active. I so want to shed this me and get on with life. Post depression, post menstural saga! No matter what, I hope I will recover and use my better heath to rediscover me! I am too young to be like this, and for the toll on the marriage.
Wishing myself continued drive and determination. I am taking control of my life now. I feel my resolve burning inside and its good!

What I am looking forward to...

There is a light at the end of the tunnel, I have lost wieght, I am more active and enjoying life again, but don't expect miricals, it will take time, don't rush it and you will get there

The sex drive came back, the fitness came back and I dicovered a whole new world called life. Everyone that knew me before cannot believe the changes in me and how active and happy I now am.

As for the little old lady that was lurking around the house disguised as me , I gave her the boot and told her to leave

I understand your determination! I too have become a little old lady- and I'm only 27. Having pelvic problems really is only the backdrop to my health issues and I elected to have a hyster. in hopes of getting rid of my pelvic pain so that my husband and I could actually "enjoy" each other again. I'm having a bit of post-op blues at the moment so I must warn you that it's possible even after the surgery to feel like nothing has been accomplished, but if you can rememeber to keep your determination to find a better you then eventually you'll get there. I think I'm realizing patience is key. MuCh LoVe! Hope all goes well with you on the 5th
