My doctor told me not to take too much soy. I can't remember exactly why, but I think he said that soy would act as an estrogen in my body and for that reason I should not use soy products.

I was told the same by my oncologist. He had said that due to the estrogen receptive nature of my cancer, the natural estrogen found in soy would have the same effect as any HRT.

I have seen others that have been able to take soy and have found some relief with it. As with any medication/supplement, its always best to check with your Dr prior to make sure its appropriate for your particular situation.

I hope you'll be able to find some help, I'm sure someone will be along that has a bit more experience with Soy and how it has affected them.

Good luck in your search,
