Just take it easy...I know how easy it is to forget about the surgery when you have no outward signs (pain, incision). Just listen to your body, relax on those couches, and bow out early if you need to!!

We will have to compare notes tomorrow! Have fun!!!

I am a Special Ed. teacher bored out of my mind

I went in earlier this week (for some hugs and a Christmas party) and it was sure fun to be there and tiring by the time I got home (but I did go shopping afterwards). I know how excited you are to visit work. Me too. I am going back tomorrow as my backup didn't backup like it was supposed from my computer and I need to see if I can get it to do that. I have checks to write and bank statements, and well the list is endless!

Have fun at your party! and at work

I am a Special Ed. teacher bored out of my mind

Just saw your chats and wanted to say that I too am a teacher. Had a TVH on 12/4. Bored out of my mind. My students are good for my sub!! What a change! One week left till Christmas Break for them. I went out last night for the first time and came back home in pain. What about you all? I have not been able to take an afternoon nap anymore either because I am not sleepy, but I am suffering from insomnia at night!

tchnnva,
I have insomnia too. Guess we are just lucky, huh? My first time out (45 minutes) wore me out. I spent 3 hours at work today. I had to write some checks and its not working right doing it here at the house. I realize now why I don't need to be there yet. Too much up and down.

Everybody talks about naps, but I haven't been in my bedroom since I got home except at night, and not very long then! I can't nap or I would never sleep!

(((ladies)))

As already respectfully requested, please remember that the "Friends Without Faces" forum is for fun and non-hysterectomy chatter. (Check out the forum descriptor for more information).

Please be sure to post any questions, or conduct any surgery support discussions, in the <link>
Post-Op Support Forum, where all our post-op members will have the opportunity to respond ~ in the true tradition of HysterSisters!

So as not to duplicate the purpose of our forums, we look forward to seeing you over on the hysterectomy boards for your support needs, but hope you'll still continue to enjoy fun and friendships here! With many thanks for your understanding and co-operation in support of the ((sisterhood)).

I am a Special Ed. teacher bored out of my mind

I went to my staff christmas party last night. Was out about 3 hours. I really miss everyone. It was my one week out and I felt good enough to go but am paying for it today. Working through email but am really feeling beat up. Guess it was too soon.

I don't nap so the days feel really long.

I am glad you got to go to your Christmas party I know you enjoyed seeing everyone. I went in and wrote some checks today as I am the only one who can do that. It sure was nice to be able to work for a few hours and then go home...can I do it that way from now on?

I am feeling a bit beat up too......We just don't realize how much went on inside during those surgeries!! LOL
