Bloated

I feel as though I'm 3 months pregnant. Are you supposed to feel that way.

Bloated

I believe that is normal although nobody tells you beforehand. You are in the very early days of recovery and I was really swollen at that point and could only wear jogging bottoms. I am now 11 weeks post op and still got a bit of a tummy but nothing like it was then. It really does improve from day to day and if you are able to be reasonably mobile then that helps. A lot of the bloating in the early days is also due to wind, which you may find a bit troublesome for couple of weeks but don't lose heart, it will improve. Good luck

I'm 10 weeks post op and still not able to wear my jeans. God bless comfy track pants (for weekends) and loose fitting dresses for work. Don't worry. And this will pass too....
