All is NOT LOST! Keep those prayers coming because God is listening!!!!

Biopsy came back as Dr. said they probably would:

PREDOMINATELY INFLAMED NECROTIC DEBRIS WITH SURFACE ULCERATION. SEE COMMENTS: MULTIPLE BIOPSIES PREDOMINATLY CONSIST OF INFLAMMATORY NECROTIC DEBRIS. a SINGLE FRAGMENT OF VIABLE SURFACE EPITHELIUM WITH UNDERLYING ATYPICAL SQUAMOUS EPITHELIUM IS PRESENT, SUSPICIOUS FOR RESIDUAL/RECURRENT SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA.(Which the Dr. said the last part would probably come back saying that if thre was not residual/recurrent cancer because they really can't tell sometimes with all the radiation damage.

PET/CT scan came back saying NO signs of metastic disease, lymph nods CLEAN. BUT , my cervix lit up in one area. He said it was blastd as a precaution with radiation and it doesn't make since it would jump to the cervix, BUT IT COULD HAPPEN. So as a precaution he wants a EUA done to be safe, AND if it is on the cervix now, I may NOT need and exteneration and could have a radical hysterectomy with reconstruction. All this would be don at Cleveland Clinic.

So, I am waiting on the call for th EUA appt. from Cleveland. I told him I want to voluntarily give up my vagina and get a new one!!! LOL.

So I DID get some good news in my opinion today. Ladies, God is listening, KEEP THOSE PRAYERS COMING!!!!

Amy, you've got my prayers!!

Thank you God for good news for Amy, and please continue to hold her up as she continues with her tests and appointments at the Cleveland Clinic.

I'm so thankful that there is NO metastic disease, and lymph nodes are CLEAR!!!

This will be the beginning of a great NEW YEAR for you!!

Good news for the new year. I'm so happy that the scan showed no metastic disease and that the EAU is precautionary. I'm praying that the EUA finds NED.

Yes Nina! I've given her a last name: Vanschlatzenberg. Makes her sound very high class! LOL

There is a good chance that spot is necrotic tissue and it lit up because of the recent biopsy and its in the healing process. The dr said the biopsy would more than likely come back saying what it did because of all the radiation, so that is why I need the EUA. Can't wait to get that done! I am ELATED about the no distant metastis and no lympn node involvement.

Ladies, I have never drank alcohol or got drunk, but Nina is telling me it is time! So I think this weekend I and Nina are going to go out and have a good time!
