Does anyone else still have abdominal soreness and tightness after more than 3 months? Also, I have occassional stinging in the incision. In adition, I'm very tired and seem to need more sleep, and also have hot flashes.
Anone else in this time frame, I'd like to hear how you are doing. Ellen

I don't think you are alone. I still have some soreness and swelling (especially if I've been really active) and I am 7 months out. Each month gets better.

Oct 1 '08 TAH still have soreness

Hi there! My surgery was 10/1 also, and I still have numbness around the incision area, and when I overdo it I still get "twingey". It's taking more and more to overdo it though, so I guess that's better than it used to be. Everyone who said it takes 6 months or more to truly get back to normal is right. OHHH and those hot flashes are a treat, aren't they?

take care

For some reason, the hot flashes haven't been an issue for me. I guess it's because my diet is very high in Soy (a natural estrogen). I am still sore, bloated, dry, and get annoying little pains. I still get a lot of pulling sensations and have trouble sleeping.
