Gained 30kg. Depressed. Headaches. Op May 2008

I am 38 going on 39. Living in Mokopane, South Africa. And realy blond. My home language is Afrikaans, so ignor the spelling mistakes....
This will be the first time I use "a blog".
I had my hysterectomy May of 2008, due to cancer. But am fine now.
I am using hormone replacements. And a "chill pill". Then the doctor told me that I have a thyroid problem to.

Now I'm on all the "drugs".
My problem at the moment is. I gained 30kg from the surgery. And have no idea which of the meds could be the one "helping" with the problem. I'm active, run my own business and eat healthy. Me pants size went from a 34 to a 42. That is so depressing
I would like it if anybody has help with this problem.

I would also think maybe the thyroid meds need to be adjusted... I have several friends that have that problem and their weight changes dramatically from being "heavy" to being too slim. Best to you.

Hi, new here. I have a friend with a thyroid problem and she went from a size 10 to a XXL.
I am on pain meds Lyrica and cycobenzaprine. I have had a weight gain of 30 lbs since starting the Lyrica. I eat a salad a day for lunch no dressing, nothing fating. I have reduced my calorie intake to half of what it had been. I havent lost any weight.
You can go into your doctor and express your concern about the weight gain, we all feel better about ourselves when we are comfortable. I am more comfortable at 150lbs not 180lbs. Good Luck!
