suture and pink discharge

Hi All!

Im new to site almost 6 weeks post op hyst ...back to OR for evacuation of an abdominal hematoma 5 days post op followed by gushes of milky pink smell dischage for almost 2 weeks after second surgery was put on 2 antibiotics shortly after discharged stopped. After almost 2 weeks discharge free I was spotting red blood for a day now back to the pink smelly discharge and passed a suture through my vagina yesterday.

Just curious if anyone had ongoing discharge almost 6 weeks post I think it's from my healing vaginal cuff but would love any feed back you may have. I have an appt tomorrow.

Thanks, Trish

suture and pink discharge

Trish- Oh my you have really had a time of things! I know that when my stitches from the vag cuff finally started to dissolve I did have an increase in discharge, and I thought it smelled awful. Since you already have an appt tomorrow I would ask them to check and make sure its just the stitches and not the infection that you were fighting earlier. Hopefully all is well, I think it took about a week or so for the discharge to stop.
