Is it TOO early for a "Detox"?

OK ladies-----Just passed the 6 week mark from TAH

I was a VERY sick girl for those that dont know me--I nearly dies in recovery, bleed out HUGE over 1000mls, massive drop in BP and went back for emergency surgery (3 hours) and ended up with a blood transfusion in my foot!.
SO, my body has been on loads of drugs incl the 2 GA's and morphine--BUT I'm doing well

I feel very bloated and yuk , and have put on a few kg's -- no more pain relief now! AND good news Came OFF my anti-depressants thru my receovery .

6 weeks since my night-mare now--Is it too early for a Detox? to cleanse my body?

Is it TOO early for a "Detox"?

Best to ask your dr. you have been through a lot so allow yourself to fully recover. Take care of yourself!!

Is it TOO early for a "Detox"?

My herbalist told me to take the full six weeks to recover before seeing her again. I started back to my full herbal regime at 10 weeks. I did have severe blood loss during surgery but not any wheres near what you experienced.

I would definitely get the all clear from your doctor as a cleansing may be a bit extreme in your case. If you have not already had your 6 week post op maybe you can bring it up with the dr then.

Good luck.

Is it TOO early for a "Detox"?

I would definitely clear that with your doctor. Maybe you can just ask when the earliest is that you can do one rather than asking if you can do one. I know what you mean though since a lot of doctors don't believe in them.
