Day at the Beach!!!

Being a sailor, yes I have a tat. I got it on my lower back (before it was a signal for a loose woman.) I too got it for a life changing event (divorce). It was a angel. My only suggestion is make sure you absolutely love the art and make sure your artist is not dyslexic or smells like weed.

Day at the Beach!!!

I have a small butterfly tattoo on the back of my left shoulder. I got it in Vegas 8 yrs ago, and no, I was not drunk! It was 10 in the morning, and I had researched a reputable place off the strip to get it. The guy who did it was named Mojo and looked like he had just gotten out of jail!!

Broinn, I haven't read the Kite Runner, but my village library is so wonderful that they'll deliver it to me if I call them.

I personally don't want a tatoo, but what about teeny tiny letters encircled with foliage that says "A womb with a view" LOL

LOL about wrinkled tats! Hopefully the back of my shoulder will not wrinkle too much!

Day at the Beach!!!

Book club is great idea. Was on a beach in Italy last year, oh boy what sights. I couldn't believe some of the gals in string and I mean tiny string bikinis without a care in the world. It actually made me think what the hell and I started looking at buying a bikini again. Although with my swelly belly think I'd better stick to the swimsuit this year.

Day at the Beach!!!

If my son wanted one it would have to be our coat of arms or a claddaugh. (He's 13.)

I would love an online book group. I miss my old one.

BTW Guam is very muggy, but it keeps the wrinkles away and clears up acne.
I shop for groceries at Eglin.

Day at the Beach!!!

CC one of my fondest memories from childhood was camping in Half Moon Bay. When the tide was low I could hike down from the campground to the beach and run along the beach it was awesome. Monterey is beautiful too!

Day at the Beach!!!

My daughter wants us to get matching tattoos when she turns 18, and I've agreed. I don't something where anyone else would actually see it. I've told the kids that they need to be old enough to make a decision as an adult, thinking about the future implications of their actions. As for me, I'm already middle-aged, and it would mean a lot to me to conquer my feelings about needles and pain. But then I think, why not just take the post-surgery photograph of my uterus and put it on the living room wall instead? (just kidding)
