Bio-identical hormome creams
Hi!
I've moved your thread here to the Hormone and Menopause Central message board which is the ideal hormone board for members like you who are very early in recovery and new to hormone therapy.
I have been fortunate enough that I haven't had to leave my own city to get compounded bio-identical hormones. I use two compounded hormones (progesterone and testosterone) along with bio-identical Vivelle Dot for my systemic estrogen as well as Vagifem for vaginal dryness, which is also bio-identical. Those two are made by pharmaceutical companies and are readily available at the pharmacy with a prescription.
Have you discussed hormone therapy with your doctor? If your preference is to use bio-identicial hormones, compounded hormone creams are just one of the options. You can read more about bio-identical hormones in articles 8 and 9 in this link: Hormone Jungle Articles.
If you are interested in trying compounded hormones and need help finding a compounding pharmacy, try using the free locator feature found on this site: www.iacprx.org.
I hope this helps!

P. S. - I'm really sorry that the link you posted had to be removed but we can't link commercial sites and can't start new threads that include links, either. I would have sent a Private Message (PM) to explain but you don't have that feature enabled.
