It's difficult to weed through all of the prime book club choices. I am very fond of Sci-Fi/ Fantasy novels, but I couldn't bite into anything until I was two weeks out also.

USLB - are you having a better day today?

fritzi- good point, the book needs to be something that is easily set down.

You all are making me really hungery...

As far a weight loss or gain from surgery, the only thing I've notice is my bras seem bigger... this was not the place I needed to loose weight!

I have plenty of tea and some roasted garlic hummus with pita chips as well.

My poos have given up on the idea of me sharing any of it with them so they are cuddled up next to me taking their nap....again!

No, I have no ideas on books at the moment. I am looking at The Last Lecture for something at work, but as inspiring as it is, it's also depressing and spends a lot of time talking about children so it wouldn't be appropriate here.

I have so many books here... just got up to look. Hmmm... this one says, International bestseller, so maybe everyone could find it. Called Farm Fatale by Wendy Holden. Is supposed to be comedic, so not depressing or anything. I have no idea if it is any good or not.

The garlic with hummous sounds yummy yummy yummy.

I made my dog happy. I sliced up hot dogs to go in the mac&cheese (if you're going unhealthy, you might as well totally enjoy it!) and I dropped two hot dogs on the floor. Thor is about to have really bad gas now.

Uh oh -- my bras are bigger these days too, now that you mention it!! I thought is was maybe a lack of estrogen, since my ovaries are now gone and I always sort of bloated in that area before my period....
