No it wouldn't. I cook it in my Le Cruset cast iron dish, think that works best!

Coddle - You put rashers (bacon), pork sausages, onions, carrots, potatoes, barley into a pot, cover in water, add beef stock cube, bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer til carrots cooked!!

I know you're all thinking boiled sausages.... Yuck!!

Well I already gulped down my first cup of Bengal Spice, which did go very well with your apricot scone in my virtual world! And of course -- you may have as many vanilla oreos as you'd like!!

The wind is really gusting now -- it's worrying my poor pooch -- he's like a scared little kitten in a giant dog body!!

@ Fritzi ~ FB would be fine. I think we may have to post our recipes at the end of our events or start a new thread for event recipes.

@ Jobo ~ I'll PM you my info for FB if you want to be "friends".

@ BookClub Interested Sisters ~ Try to think of some books that are not too emotionally charged. Some of our sister's are sensitive to certain life issues.
This story was recommended: Eating Heaven by Jennie Shortridge. It involves food, humor, a dysfunctional family (the protagonist is a middle aged daughter, not a wife or mother) and a weird uncle who has pancreatic cancer.
Barefoot sounds awesome!

I'll post the Apricot scone recipe when the party is over.

Hi Ladies!

I am drinking Peppermint Tea (my fav) and eating an english muffin with butter, cinnamon and sugar (my new post hyster craving!)

I am reading a guilty pleasure book... Trading Up by Candace Bushnell (author of Sex in the City). It's ok so far, kinda an escapist novel- more like a beach read.

How's everyone?

Shena09 good for you staying off the cigarettes. Going to the Gym, I'm impressed! There is now way I could head to the Gym, actually my Dr wouldn't let me. I'm only now starting on going for longer walks.
