Nerves getting the best of me. (kids mentioned)

Hi sisters. I am finally on the down slide of my long, drawn out wait. I have been waiting since September of last year. And now March 3 is creeping up on me. I have been reading on here. And putting alot of worries to rest. I have gotten my house in order, got sitters for the kids and myself. I am running out of things to do. LOL.

My nerves are getting to me now. I have had to much time to think about everything. I keep having nightmares of not making it out of the operating room. I went to my attorney this morning and made a will out. Due to the fact that my 11 yr old daughter is not my DH's biological child. I left him custody of her if something happens to me. Her biological father has not seen her since she was 4 months old.

Then after bleeding since June of last year. I finally stopped a week ago. I am still cramping like there is not tommarrow. I am worried about my DS who will be 3 on the 1st of March. I have never been away from him more than a couple of hours. I am a SAHM. I am unsure on how he will take to me being gone for atleast 3 days. My DH and DM will be here with the kids. And I have an afterschool babysitter that will be here for when DD gets home. O and my DD is Type 1 diabetic. I am worried about her sugars going up and her going into DKA again.

If you read this all the way through thank you. Please someone can you tell me that all that I feel is normal.

Nerves getting the best of me. (kids mentioned)

I can relate hun. I'm a SAHM too and I'm leaving my baby girl, who will be 2 on March 6. DH will take care of her, but I'm going to miss her like crazy. I have 2 older boys at home and 1 girl in away in college. My boys I will miss, but it's different with Kaycee since I'm home with her all day. I'm going to miss picking her up too. I hope to recover quickly!

What you are feeling is perfectly normal & I'm sure your DH and DM will do great! Best Wishes to you ((Hugs))

Nerves getting the best of me. (kids mentioned)

I got an infection after the c-section for my 2nd child, & I was in the hospital & had to have surgery to correct it. I was away from her for almost 2 weeks when she was only 2 months old. Now she is 18 months & she still has seperation issues. She has had seperation issues ever since then, & when I went in to have my 3rd baby she freaked out. My DH brought her up to see me ASAP & it really put her at ease. I am actually putting off my hyst until my new little one is older to avoid the same issues.

My suggestion would be to have your DH bring the little one up to see you. If you can, explain beforehand what will happen & explain that he will be able to see you as soon as you better.

I understand exactly. My son is 2 and I am under strict orders to take it easy and to not do anything but take care of me for the first week after surgery and then not to be alone with my son for after that for a few weeks. I am freaking out at the thought of being away from him. I know it is the best thing for us since he is so clingy with me but I still hate it

I think it might do him so good to see that it is ok to be away from me. My poor mom has tried and tried to get him to stay the night with her and he refuses to. He is ok until it is time to lay down. We have even tired to let him pass out. Well lets just say about 4 am that morning DH was having to go and get him he was so sleepy he was goofy. My DH is bringing both of them to the hospital that afternoon. I am just unsure how DS is going to react. Thanks ladies it does make me feel better that I am not alone with this.

Jackson will not go to the hospital to see me, or right now I say he won't. I was in the hospital for a few days last year and he had a really hard time seeing me in the hospital and seeing me hooked up to the iv and everything. I think this time I will just wait it out, as hard as that is going to be
