da Vinci hysterectomy done in Utah
Ladies, I had my hysterectomy done here in Utah and I found a surgeon that was able to use the da Vinci. I went in Tuesday came home Wednesday morning and I took some Tylenol Wednesday and yesterday. I'm pain free today and took my kids to school this morning. I can't believe how good I feel. The surgeon was amazing and she was kind to me before and after.

I'm glad you are doing so well but please remember that you had major surgery. Those tiny incisions make a lot of us think all is well and great and we're back to normal.
Be careful and glad you found your surgeon.

It's great to hear you're home and doing well!
Have you found our <link> Post-Op Page yet? It's packed with information to help with your recovery. Please remember that a hysterectomy (whichever procedure) is major surgery and you only have this one chance to heal properly.
Sending all good wishes as you continue to heal!

I'm so glad you are doing well. I'll agree with the others...take care of yourself and don't do too much.
I had an opportunity to "Drive" the DaVinci Surgical System today at a Hystersisters gathering here in my area. Awesome piece of technology imo.
Happy Valentines Day

da Vinci hysterectomy done in Utah
Ladies, thank you all for your support and feedback. I did take it easy, but to tell you the truth had virtually no pain from the first day. I am so thankful I was able to find a surgeon in Utah that provided this procedure. So many surgeons in Utah are against this procedure, I just don't understand it when the benefits are so great for the patient. My adhesions drove every surgeon to tell me the only way to perform my hysterectomy was open...until I found the one surgeon in Utah that uses the da Vinci for benign hysterectomies.
This is such a great board, and I'm proud to be part of this group.

I had the same procedure done, been mostly pain free since surgery except for gas pains. Just take it easy, I have still been very tired it is still major surgery. Glad yours went so well! Mine did go very well, but still sore and dealing with gas and bowel issues.
