vaginal pressure, belly button sore, vaginal odor

I am one week and one day post-op from my LSH and pelvic prolapse repair. My experience could not have been better. No pain and no nausea. Left the hospital the next day and only took pain medication for 7 days. Now I am off all medication. I do have three questions: 1) does anyone else have a strange vaginal odor. I called my doctor's physician assistant and she said that some people experience this and it should go away in a few weeks. 2) my belly button is sore when I bend over...actually it seems to be getting better today, so perhaps this is nothing...and 3) yesterday and today I seem to have some pressure in my vagina...this is probably from the prolapse repair...perhaps I am doing too much...I really have been taking it easy...no lifting, etc., resting for the most part, going out once a day when my DH takes me to Starbucks or
Border's for a latte. Any advice would be most welcome!

It sounds like you are doing great. My doc told me that the strange vaginal odor was from the inside sutures disolving. I am 10 weeks post op and my belly button still gets sore if I do too much. Take it easy. Remember to pamper the princess. Take care and God bless.

Thanks so much for the encouragement...sometimes we just need to be reassured! I will take it easy...
