Pain relief..abs?

I know I am full of questions..sorry about that..

I'm 4 wks post LAVH. I am fighting a small cold right now and have been coughing the last few days.Today, I noticed my incision sites are rather tender. I am also having some pain in my abs/stomach area. The majority of it seems to be around the incision behind my belly button. My muscles almost feel fatigued.

Is there anything I can do to help this? I am still so nervous to do much stretching and bending.

Anyone else atleast have the same experience or ideas?

Pain relief..abs?

I was told not to stretch or bend over by my nurse. I also had a cold (lowered immune system after surgery maybe???) and a cough and my belly around my incision was tender and felt like it was sunburned. When I asked the nurse at my Drs office about it, she said that was just the nerves that had been cut at, healing and "finding their place again'. She also told me that as long as it wasn't red looking or hot to the touch it was fine, and I was probably doing too much. I hit week 6 yesterday (appt today) and the tenderness is much better, but I still can't bend or stretch without it hurting. I am also tired most days, and wear out easily. I'm looking forward to seeing the doc today to see how I am healing according to him.
