Trouble reading

Hi Sisters,

I am four weeks post op (TVH, AP repairs and sling), and I am still having trouble reading! I have had surgery before, and I remember not being able to concentrate, but this seems to have gone on a very long time! I love to read ordinarily, and I have about ten new books lying by my bed. I get about three to four pages in, and I don't remember what I've read, or I have absolutely no interest. Is this familiar to any of you? Love, Physter

That sounds famimliar to me. I read a LOT and couldn't seem to concentrate or even care about it for several weeks after my hyst. About all I could manage was watching light weight movies ( I don't usually do that much at all ).
Hang in there, it should get better for you soon

Trouble reading

Today is five weeks for me and I still can't concentrate on anything...not even a magazine article! I had books ready to read after my surgery and they are still sitting...unread. It has gotten better, so I know my ability to concentrate will come back...just not sure when to expect it!

Hugs for your continued recovery
