Ovarian Cyst

I've really had enough all ready!
First I scheduled my hysterectomy. Then I ended up with a kidney stone that required surgery 4 days before my hysterectomy.
So I make it through that, but have to wait for more tests for a growth on my kidney. Then I have a "mini-stroke" 2 weeks after the surgeries. During the tests for that, they find thyroid nodules. So I go for more tests on my thyroid and kidney. GP's office calls and refuses to give me test results over the phone (after giving me other results over the phone, so I'm nervous now) and I have an appointment on Monday. Today I get the report for my kidney... good news, it's a benign cyst. Bad news... 9 mm kidney stone in the one kidney and a 4.3 cm cyst on my one remaining ovary!
Enough is enough all ready! I'm at my wits end!
I have no idea what the plan will be for this cyst. The thing is, it looked FINE less than 6 weeks ago, and now this good sized cyst. I'm afraid I may have to have another surgery, I don't know what to think.

Ovarian Cyst

TABSF - It certainly sounds like your plate is full.. The hysterectomy is difficult enough to deal with, let alone all of the other medical issues.

I went in for surgery for a hysterectomy due to large fibroids and to explore an unusual cyst. It turned out that one of my ovaries was completely covered in endometriosis. I was able to keep one ovary.

I'll be thinking about you and will send good thoughts your way on Monday!
Hang in there!

Ovarian Cyst

Hi there,

I had my TAH ovaries kept last year (aged 35) 5 weeks
later it was picked up that i have a right ovarian cyst &
another cyst on my left side beside the vagina. I've
never had cysts in my life. They kept an eye on
them over the coming months but have now
been told they are large cysts & i
need to have them out along with the right ovary.
Needless to say i am not happy about another op either.

My love to you & best of luck for Monday

They may be able to drain the cyst w/o surgery. And even if you have surgery, it would likely be lap. type and no big incisions.(((hugs)))
