Lap-assisted total hyst ahead (endo/PCOS patient)

Hello All! I've been reading this forum for over a year now, when I first spoke with my OB/Gyn about a hysterectomy and the time draws near. In less than a week, I'll be going in for my Lap-assisted complete hysterectomy. We're leaving nothing behind because of endometriosis and PCOS, along with a past history of cervical dysplasia. I'm nervous, excited and not sleeping well. The anxiety is really catching up to me and usually I'm pretty good at controlling it. I know it'll all be fine and after losing half my life to pain and bleeding, I'll be SO glad to be done with it. I just wanted to say HI and THANKS to EVERYONE who posts here. It's been eye-opening and very informative! BIG hugs to all you lovely ladies!

Re: Lap-assisted total hyst ahead (endo/PCOS patient)

Hi Shauna Lin,
I just had a LATH on 3-31. I feel great -- better than before. I am back to work, and pretty much all my normal activities. I think the positive attitude you have will be a big help.
I am sure it will all go well.
