Vaginal discharge after Vaginal hyst.

I had a vaginal hysterectomy/ TVT sling/ Rectocele repair on April 20th, 2009 due to uterine prolapse, stress incontinence, abnormal bleeding and a rectocele.

Post op they discovered a large hematoma at the rectocele repair site. It has since been resolving ( no noted bleeding).

I have a large perineum incision (almost like an episiotomy) which is still healing also.

What I am having is a brown/yellow liquidy type drainage, some odor is noted, but not strong.
No abdominal pain or fever or issues with urinating, just annoying drainage that can be just a small amount to a lot. I am having to wear pads that are changed several times per day.

Is this normal? I do not see my dr for 2 weeks.
Is this part of healing or an infection to be concerned about???

Re: Vaginal discharge after Vaginal hyst.

I had a vaginal hyst and rectocele repair. I did have brown to yellowish type discharge up to my 6 weeks post up check up and a little after. I think it takes some time for the healing. Once I was healed completely it went clear to no discharge at all.
