7 Day Count Day

Wow, I have so many different thoughts racing through my head right now . . . but I know that this time next week, I will be finishing by bowl prep.

As much as I dread doing this, I know it is almost the final step to my freedom. I am thankful to be able to read all of your posting, because it does give me a sense of what to expect. Although I've had my pre-op visit already, I have to go by the hosptial tomorrow and do my final blood work before surgery.

So thanks to all of my sisters out here for sharing your experiences. I look forward to sharing mine as well. Here are my random thoughts for the day . . .

Right now, I just want to finish getting my house clean, stocking my shelves with groceries, finding me a few good books, and marking my walking path within my house.

No matter how I try to avoid stairs, I know that to get into my house, regardless to whether or not I use the front door or come in from the basement, I have 14 stairs to climb. Once I finish that climb, everything else I need is on my first level. I don't have to go upstairs, because the master bedroom is on the first level (yeah).

Water my house plants, I must get all of my house plants watered before Friday. Wash clothes, must do that by Thursday.

......... and the list goes on and on! BUT, When the DAY arrives, I will do what I am told and just pay a visit to the website regulary to do my updates and check on all of you!

Re: 7 Day Count Day

Best wishes to you!!! You sound like you are ready to go!!! Staying busy the days before will help time go by faster.

I am now 2 days post op and doing great! I thought I was going to get by not taking any pain meds but I broke down and took an Ibuprofen earlier. I have my appetite back!!! Yay!!!!

to you while you wait!!!!
