Long term success after lysis of adhesions?

Has anyone had any long term improvement or complete success after lysis of pelvic adhesions? Had them taken down in 12/2007 (8 months after LAVH - the new doctor was so sure I didn't have anything wrong with me)! Completely adhered in left pelvic region. Within a couple of months I began experiencing the same pain. Now 18 months later the pain is so bad at times I can barely walk. Surgery may provide temporary relief but I know the recurrence rate is high. Any suggestions on other therapies?

Re: Long term success after lysis of adhesions?

I am not long term yet but I am 1 1/2 years out from lysis of adhesions and am doing well! My doctor was an endo specialist and pelvic pain specialist with a lot of experience with adhesions. He also used Interceed as a barrier method.

Hope this helps! S
