Re: Want to eat all the time ~ is that normal?

Doaa, I certainly think it is normal for your body to need extra food while it is repairing itself. Your hunger is an indication of that. If you are concerned about overeating and weight gain, just be sure that you have healthy foods around to satisfy your hunger rather than heavy fat-laden foods. This is the perfect time of year to indulge in fresh fruits and vegetables without loading your system with bad nutritional choices.

Be sure to include lean protein choices, as well, to help your body repair and build muscles. I add low-fat cheese sticks, reduced-fat peanut butter, eggs, skim milk, and/or lean luncheon meat to snacks.

Re: Want to eat all the time ~ is that normal?

stone-bo said all I wanted to say I have been eating allot for my energy level and find I am not gaining weight. I keep a close eye and once I start gaining it is time to cut back.
I am eating heavy type of meals I normally do not eat but I know my body craves it for healing.

Re: Want to eat all the time ~ is that normal?

I eat alot too. I was thinking maybe its because i'm bored. LOL
I got my appetite back pretty fast. I had the same appetite before surgery. So for me its really not any different.
I am worried about little activity and eating. I try to keep it healthy. WE need to go shopping again. I haven't shopped since before the surgery.
