Back to work

Hi Ladies

I am finally back to work, (sit down desk job) 4 wks since RALH and doing well. The first 2 days, I was extremely tired after a full day, however when I got home I experienced severe insomnia...needless to say 2 days of insomnia and it finally caught up with me last night. I was home at 5, dinner at 6 and asleep by 8. Still having some burning/twingy type pains at the naval, , if I sneeze or cough and definitely more so since I used the manual hole puncher. Guess I won't be using that again anytime soon!

My back is achy but I think that is because I am leaning forward to compensate for the twinges & pain I feel from surgery.

Swelly belly is in full gear, my fellow co-workers (those that dont know what I had done) jokingly asked when my due date is. (We were laid off since May 1) Of course they are embarrassed and apologize when I state that I had a hysterectomy.

Other than that its good to be back....Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the swelly belly band? I am thinking it would really help hold me and I if I ordered it today how long would it take to get to me?

Thanks!

Re: Back to work

I think my band came within 5 days and I live in North Central Wisconsin. I have not tried it yet. In fact I am writing you from my hospital bed! I have to take 6 weeks for recovery but I wonder if I will recover faster.
