No! Some pain has returned today -- had to take pain meds :(

I thought I was doing better -- I hadn't taken a Dilaudid since Tuesday! Just now, I had to resort to taking one. If you remember, this caused my horrible constipation issue on Tuesday. *sigh*

But now, it's VERY, VERY sore when sitting and I can't even lay or sit for a long time because of the soreness inside. So bad so, I didn't sleep most of the night because NO position is comfortable. Only standing seems to relieve it.

I feel like I'm going backwards. The soreness and pulling feels deep in the muscle on the right. Dr. never called with the CT Scan results and I've left a msg and no one has called back. They are probably gone for the day.

I'm just miserable -- I had diarrhea today w/horrible cramping (probably from the Barrium drink I had to ingest on Wednesday from the CT Scan).

Day 11 and I really should have been more mobile and felt better. I walked to the corner and back yesterday -- today, I can't even move that far because of the pain.

The only consolation I have is that my little Chihuahua is coming home today! He's been with my mother for TWO WEEKS and he's getting depressed. I get to see my little Nacho this evening!

Thanks for listening; I appreciate it!

Re: No! Some pain has returned today -- had to take pain meds :(

I hate taking those heavy duty pain meds because they constipate me too. I know how frustrated you feel. I'm at three weeks and was getting around pretty good and feeling pretty confident. Then two nights ago wound up in emergency room bec of vaginal bleeding. Now my doc wants me back to mostly resting in bed for the next few days. So I feel like I'm losing ground too. It sounds like the recovery process is much more of a roller coaster ride than a straight run on level tracks!

If your pain gets worse, maybe you should head to the ER this weekend. Hope you feel better.

Chrys - having your baby home will surely be the medicine you need

I had to take a pain pill today for the 1st time in a few days too. Not sure why I was hurting so bad again, but hoping it's a passing thing.

It's still only been a short time for all of us, so I try to remind myself of that when I feel yucky. Hopefully each day will be better.
