Chemo #5 coming up already!

These three week cycles seem to fly by. I can't believe it is time for chemo
#5 already on Thursday. And then perhaps just one treatment left after
that. I am already starting to envision my life when the three month check
ups come into play. Wondering how life will be with that anxiety. There is
some level of comfort to be found while doing chemo. I hope to just rise to
the occasions like so many of my sisters on this board have done. Strength
is contagious.
I plan on Walking for the Whisper on Sept 30th in Phila. Many of my family
members as well as coworkers will be walking with me. I think I'd best get
out and start walking more so that I can make the three miles.
Hoping everyone is doing well!!!! oxoxoxkarenann

Hi Karen,
Wow...they do come around fast don't they?!!
How wonderful that you may just have one more after this one. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you.
You have done so well with your treatments as far as nausea goes, and thats so great.

I called the Canadian and Provincial cancer societys here and they don't have the Walk for Whisper here. You would think that would be an international fund raiser. Thats a wonderful thing you are doing.

I know what you mean about the comfort level during treatments. And you know thats because we are checked every 3 weeks, and we feel they are on top of things, but when the 3 month ones come, it seems like forever in between checks, so it is very nerve wracking. I feel the same way.

I wish you well on your hopefully second to last round, and keep in touch. I just noticed you are in NJ Karen....I pray all your friends and loved ones are safe!
Take care, and let us know how ya do!!
Love and Hugs,

Hi Karen, great to hear from you again. I have been wondering how you are doing. The time between checkups is hard , as I am really only new to this, I cant tell if it gets any easier. Maybe with time , one can only hope. But the best thing is... you have us all here to wait with. Keeping you close to my heart as you approach this next treatment. Much love always x x
