Adhesions & Lapro

I am set to get my ovaires out tomorrow and since I had my uterus removed in 2001 because of uterine prolapse and the surgery was done abdominally, there is worry that there are adhesions, but he will try laproscopic procedure first.

So to get to the question: I've read some of you have adhesion's. Did you have adhesion before the surgery? Were they able to do the surgery laproscopically despite the adhesions?
Thankfully I know I have a skilled surgeon and I hope that when I wake up he says we were able to do it lapro, but I'd like to hear some personal stories to offer a little hope

During each of my surgeries before and for my tah/bso there is a note of adhesions in the surgical reports. Interesting, that during my first lap for removal of the right ovary the surgical report states "dense adhesions from a previous surgery" what is interesting is that I had never had surgery in that area. I suspect that the adhesions were probably formed during an illness I had that sort of started the female problems rolling.

I did have one open surgery before I had the hyst, but all the other surgeries were performed via a lap.
