Hard knot/lump along Incision line..what is this?

I had a TAH on 11/11. On the right side of my incision about a 1/4" up I feel a hard lump, what is this?

I think I've seen someone talk about this but I can't find the post. The area is still numb from surgery so I don't hurt just have the normal soreness feeling.

Re: Hard knot/lump along Incision line..what is this?

I posted the same thing a little while ago. I went to the dr. and he told me it was a little bit of scar tissue forming. At the time, it was a little painful. Now the lump is a bit smaller and not painful. I was sure it was something to be concerned about, but he said no...and he was right!

Re: Hard knot/lump along Incision line..what is this?

Thank you!! I thought it was scar tissue as well and I did feel pressure but no additional soreness or pain than I already had. I think my swelly belly is a tiny bit smaller and I can feel that lump more. Thanks again!
