Clitoral/vaginal sensation wake me up

Hi Everyone,

Back in 2/2009 I posted for suggestions about an irritating sensation 6-8 times per day with the worst ones being at night, from midnight to 5am. They started exactly one year after my hyst. They usually lasts 15-30 minutes each. I had not had a good nights sleep in months. I will also mention I have multiple sclerosis. My family doctor mentioned I had some vaginal atrophy in my pap in 7/2009. Acidophilous and a natural alternative to estrogen were recommended but did not alleviate my symptoms. The acidophilous did however regulate my bowel movements. Nights were mentally excrutiating and I had several urine cultures done with no growth. It was an internal sensation that couldn't be scratched and was driving me crazy. Last week 12/20/09, I had a yeast infection treated. It had been there for a while but I was told the white discharge was hormonal when I asked about it during my pap exam in July 2009. I had the discharge since 12/08 but asymptomatic on the outside. Apparently, my increase in dosage of medicine caused it to grow even more wildly. After treatment that ended with a pill called Diflucan, I still had problems down there due to severe internal dryness. I decided to try REPLENS first. My family history made me leery of estrogen. A few hours after my first treatment I felt better than I had ever felt down there EVER. The first hour was much like an episode of the nightly irritation. I have a slight white discharge that resembles yeast but is only dead cells from the replens and not very much at all. After that, I felt soft and supple (even without touching). I wish my doctor had discussed atrophy symptoms and moisturizers. Instead, I was getting urine cultures. It is very embarrasing to talk about clitoral symptoms and vaginal spasms. Even harder if you keep having to bring it up over and over without a solution being given. I have a new doctor now and my next visit is in March. I will be more than happy to update with my post- hysterectomy health at anytime or answer any questions. My FSH is 10.6. LH is 16.6 and E2 is 81. I still have my ovaries.
