Exhaustion

Hi!

I'm seven months post op and am exhausted. I have good day, but other days I crash. Is this normal?

Re: Exhaustion

If you are working and doing a strenuous job, perhaps. I did not feel exhausted, but somewhat tired at night. You might see your doctor and see what he suggests.

I 'm not sure but I am exhausted alot since the hyster. am on hormones, thyroid was normal but I do have alot of allergies, I mean allergic to practically everything under the sun so I'm thinking thats part of mine. also I never sleep solidly since the hyster so that is to blame also.I've had several more surgeries to- unrelated to the pelvic region. I wish I would have not taken it out. I had more energy with it. other ladies I've talked to say at least a year to feel like yourself again.

Re: Exhaustion

I have a lot of fatigue, too, but also have stressful job and I'm overweight. I am perimenopause or menopausal. 46 and had hysterectomy but kept ovaries four years ago.

Re: Exhaustion

I am exhausted almost everyday.
I haven't found hormones that I can tolerate. When I have a good day I go crazy doing everything and loving every
minute of the good day I'm having only to crash for 3or4 to follow. Frustrating and very difficult to make plans to do things. Adrenal fatigue might be something to look into. I was dx with addison's disease after a surgery for something unrelated to my hysterectomy, which is a more severe form of adrenal fatigue. You may want to ask your Dr to check your cortisol levels. I am low on all hormones but only take cortisol daily because I react to everything else. I'm determined to find the something that works but I can say that without the cortisol I couldn't get out of bed cause I was so sick.
I hope you feel better! Hang in there!
