TVH: question about adenomyosis

Does anyone know if bright red spotting mid-cycle is a symptom of adenomyosis?

I have adeno, and I can't say for sure if that is a symptom. When it got really bad for me back in august I just didn't stop bleeding at all. I think irregular bleeding IS part of adeno though. Keep an eye on it, and if it gets heavy call your doctor's office and let them know anyway. Hope this helps a little.

I have a similar situation as luvee, it's more of a constant thing, although because I had an ablation I don't fully bleed anymore (thank God). I do spot off and on all month, without any noticeable cause sometimes. I've taken to at least wearing pantyliners at all times, just to be safe. You may want to call your doctor and mention it though, just to be on the safe side.
