Can't stand up straight!
I remember after my c section that I couldn't stand up straight. I just can't remember how long? I had the Da Vinci 6 days ago andI still hold my abdomen and walk hunched over. I'm thinking it may be because there's the smaller incisions but spread over a larger area. My hubby was asking about me not walking straight. Anyone else experience this"?

Yes I think it has been described in post op as walking like little old lady. It does go away. I don't remember how long, but by 2 weeks I think.

Is it also fear that if you stand upright the incision will rip open. (tust me it won't) Personally I walked like a penguin for a week so I guess an old lady is an improvement!

Re: Can't stand up straight!
Hi,
I had the Di Vinci Hyst plus BSO and am walking hunched over too! I had my surgery on the 13th. My doc said that the pain may feel like you did way too many sit ups or stomach crunches and that's exactly how I feel but with low back pain too! I can stand straight but it feels better walking hunched over! Go figure!
