Switched from Vivelle to Enjuvia-major issues HELP!

So I saw a new GYN last week and she advised me to try Enjuvia b/c I wasn't liking the hassle of the patch, Vivi Dot 0.75. And she also raised me to the highest level at 1.25mg of Enjuvia (comparable to the .1 Vivelle Dot). I'm in surgical menopause at 36yrs and she thought it would be better for me. So I started taking Enjuvia and within a few hours I develop what feels like menstrual cramps in my lower back and where my ovaries used to be. It got progressively worse so I stopped Enjuvia after 5 days and put my Vivelle Dot patch back on. I have a call into her today to see what's going on. What could be causing this? Are the cramps due to the higher levels of estrogen or b/c it's synthetic estrogen? And it'I can't seem to get rid of these cramps now. I am so upset. Should I take off the Vivelle Dot and let my body reset for a few days, maybe too much estrogen flared up my body? Trying to navigate my hormones by trying something new and now it brings back my cramps. By the way, I had hysterectomy to get rid of my endo and the surgery was successful, no cramps since I started this med. Any ideas?
