Hormone overload...waiting for surgery

Hi
I have scheduled my hysterectomy scheduled for the summer. In the meantime, the doctor has put me on Lupron with progesterine (to stop the clotting I've had on Lupron) and estrogen (to combat the depression). I feel like I am going crazy. I feel so guilty for my partner and wonder why he would stay with this. Some days i Feel like I have 6 personalities. loving to mean.

Some days I am okay with the decision and others I cry. I am in my mid 30's and have no children...I have been dealing with endo for yrs.

Are these ups and downs normal? Any suggestions on how to stop the "what if" questions I having following post op? I'm so afraid that my ovaries will stop and I'll have these varies personalities for the next 15 yrs! I'm so scared for the emotions after surgery.

Is anyone in the same boat....

All I can recommend is to try to take it one day at a time and don't borrow trouble from tomorrow. It isn't easy to do but you don't know what will happen after the surgery so you have to let that one rest. You can do some research so you know the signs but you can't solve it now. It's a possibility you know it, if it happens you can talk to your Dr about it.

I can't tell you about Lupron but I can tell you from my surgical menopause that crazy emotions do come with having your hormones messed with.

I'm hoping others will be along that can help you a bit more.
