Kinda down

Hi Everyone, I started to polk around other sites and I ran back here! I feel kinda down today as my last period is oncoming. Not because it will be the last one but, the mood swings and the magnification of my emotions. I TRULY have found this site to put a smile on my face .... Knowing the support is here! When I begin to tell other women of the site I actually feel my face begin to changewith a smile. I want to suppot the site. Thanks for being here for me as I hope I will be able to help others. The terms used like; castle for hospital make me smile and DH for dear husband. I hope mine will be as dear as some of the other sisters experiences.
Feeling up and down with weeks to go...
Thanks again. Good to get it out.
Hugs,

Hi, Diane......I found this post of yours in the Sisteritaville Cookbook section of the site and moved it here to the PreOp section. I see that your surgery was scheduled for yesterday. I hope that by the time you read this you are home recovering and feeling better every day.

I'm happy you found Hystersisters and hope you decide to stay for a while.

Kinda down

I just went through that melancholy feeling 2 weeks ago, knowing it was the "last time". Not that I *enjoyed* menstruating, but still, that feeling of it being over... well I was sad too.

On a sweet note, my adult daughters gave me a surprise "Mom's Going Low-Maintenance" party. It was great! They invited all the women we know and we did "girl" things, ate "girl" food, watched (and bawled through) Steel Magnolias. Just had a total WOMEN's night. It was great.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Kate, up here in Canada
