It gets better.

Brenda,

I promise, it DOES get better. The first few weeks, sometimes months are a rollercoaster of exhaustion and sometimes euphoria. Are you sure you're on the right hormone dosage? I changed doctors after my surgery and got my hormones regulated and felt a LOT better. And don't feel bad about the pain pills. I took them for awhile after surgery, too.

Hang in there, it will get better and you will feel SOOOO much better than you did before the hyst.

Feeling really depressed and tired

Brenda,
You are still in the very early stages of recovery. Your body is recovering from the surgery and using up its stored reserves of hormones. It is not uncommon to experience alot of fluctuation in your levels during this time.

Fatigue is also a common factor during this time. It is your body's way of telling you to You really do need lots of rest during this time.

Hang in there Brenda, it does get better. Rest, relax and pamper the

Feeling really depressed and tired

Brenda:

I too am a little more than 2 weeks post op. I have had the same tired and wore out (along with emotional) feelings you expressed, and I don't have a 22 month old to care for!! No wonder you are down. Are there friends or relatives near by that can take your little guy for a couple of hours a couple of days a week even so you can rest???

Know that you can come here anytime for support and a hug. I only wish there was more I could do to help!

Good Luck, and God Bless

My family nor my husband understand what I am going through and it so nice to have someone to say hey I understand and to support me. Thanks to all of you for being there for me. Today was a good day and I hope that I will have more just like this one. But...it is nice to know that I have you guys to turn to when I need a shoulder to lean on!
