Monday

Monday is the day - having my da Vinci hysterectomy. Bloodwork tomorrow. Feel very anxious...

Think about it this way. Monday, it's over and you can get on the road to recovery. Lots of luck and hugs coming your way.

Try to think of the positive things of getting your life back. It will be fine and you will be on the other side. I think I would stay very busy to help met through the next few days. I also started listening to lots of music to help.

I've been keeping busy all week baking and freezing snacks for the family. I cleaned like I'm nesting I just want Monday to come.

I was so nervous before my surgery, i was sick to my stomach and having second thoughts, now i am so glad its over with and it wasn't as bad as i anticipated. Good luck and we will see you on the other side, keep us posted!!!

Think positive. I did and I feel pretty good from my lavh/bso on march 5th. I even traveled 8 hours today to see my son's college team playing baseball.

You're going to be just great! As has been said, remind yourself how much happier you will be when you're recovered and have your life back, keep yourself plenty busy (oh my goodness I was running my butt of the last 5 or so days before surgery), and you will be just fine.
Can't wait to have you on the "other side"!

I so know how you are feeling...i was there last week! It was so much better just getting to the hospital and getting on with it! You will be on here encouraging others before you know it!

You are going to do just great. I had my da Vinci 10 days ago and feel really good. Just hang in there, get through it and come out on the other side feeling much better. Remember to follow all instructions, keep up with your pain meds and know we are here for you!!
